Brian :
I’m going to be selling my house soon, and I’m trying to figure out who the listing agents were for a couple of similar properties in the area that managed to sell quickly at a reasonable price. Any suggestions for how to most easily track down this info?

I do not know how to track down this info but I had the same dilemma as you 2 years ago. What my husband and I did was walk around the neighborhood and note down names of agents that had property’s up for sale. We took the agent that had the most (he had about 50% of the market in our neighborhood) and checked out his website. His website listed houses he has for sale with prices and those he sold in previous months. This helped us to determine the price range for our house and we sold it on our own.
hope this helps!
I would either check the multiple listing service for homes recently sold in the neighborhood and check the company that sold the home, sometimes the agent is even listed with the company or you could always go to the homes and ask the new homeowners the company that sold the home to them or even the agent ( the listing agent not the buyers agent), im sure they would be happy to tell you. When you have this information call the office and give them the address to the home and ask who the agent was that sold them the home
This is what I would do
hope this helps and good luck selling your home!
Call a Realtor and ask that person to look it up for you. You should interview a couple of agents anyway. Hire the one you are impressed the most with.
