We made this offer on a property, The Real Estate Agent, who is the contact for the seller, seems to be avoiding us. The Agent ask us to left our offer ( in a folder on his desk in his office). We want to get the property and think we’ve made a reasonable offer, but its very frustrating.

We were going to move into a property with some other people but decided not to. two tenants replaced us, and they signed the contract and paid their deposit. However the agency is refusing to give us our deposit back as the 2 new people have not handed in guarantor forms. Surely this is not my problem, the manager says it is “company policy”. Do I have any legal rights to get it back?

I contacted a real estate agent about some property that was for ale and then she told my landlord hat I was lookingto buy property and they are furious that we were looking to move before talking to them. Can the agent legally have told them this information?
